Floating sleeve can be used to reduce the axial clearance of melt pump. To reduce the internal leakage, it is necessary to ensure the reasonable axial clearance of the melt gear pump. The structure sketch of the floating axle sleeve is shown in Fig. 1. Under the action of spring force, the right end of the floating axle sleeve can be closely attached to the end face of the gear to reduce the axial clearance and thus reduce the axial leakage.
