Noise Reduction Scheme of thermoplast extrusion pump
1. Reduce the modulus of the gear and increase the tooth width. This is because, with the increase of modulus, the deformation of gear teeth after loading is small, which is helpful to reduce noise; but with the increase of modulus, the manufacturing error (such as tooth profile error, pitch error) also increases, which leads to the increase of noise. Therefore, the smaller modulus should be selected as far as possible under the condition of the strength and deformation of gear teeth. Tooth width directly affects the deformation and orientation error of the loaded teeth. Tooth width is inversely proportional to the bending of the teeth. Tooth width is doubled and the bending part of the teeth is reduced by half. In this sense, increasing tooth width is conducive to reducing noise.
2. Improve the tooth profile. By improving the tooth profile, the meshing impact of the gear is reduced, the transmission line is smooth, the periodic fluctuation and vibration are reduced, and the noise is reduced. For example, in recent years, the tooth profile of asymmetric involute circular arc tooth profile with double modulus has solved the problem of flow fluctuation, improved the transmission stability and reduced the noise.
3. Choose a good bearing. Bearing not only affects the life of thermoplast extrusion pump, but also the structure of bearing directly affects the noise of gear pump.
4. Improve the dimensional accuracy and surface finish of parts. Higher surface roughness, higher liver friction coefficient and higher friction force mean that higher power is needed for the transmission of a given load, thus increasing noise.
