What is an extrusion pump?
The extrusion system uses a melt gear pump, also known as a melt metering pump or extrusion pump, which can be used in various extrusion industries, such as sheet, sheet, pipe, film, granulation, wire drawing, cable, co extrusion, mixing, precision extrusion, and so on. Suitable for extrusion and transportation of thermoplastic high viscosity polymer melts; This type of material includes fluids such as silicone, sealants, adhesives, primers, PVC sols, epoxy resins, and lubricants. Generally installed between the extruder outlet and the die head, used as a melt metering pump; It can also be installed in polymer melt pipelines for use as a booster pump.
The extruder pump mainly consists of a pump casing, front and rear side covers, gear shafts, sliding bearings, and shaft seals; It has advantages such as precise structure, high precision, small pressure and flow pulsation, and long service life.
Characteristics of extruder pump
1. Optimized melt flow channel design: eliminates dead corners within the channel, minimizes polymer residue, and improves product quality;
2. Optional built-in flow channel: suitable for fluid cooling to adapt to more precise and fast temperature control systems; It can also be used for heating medium;
3. Improved gear parameter design: more precise rotational displacement design, making output pressure more stable and suitable for precision extrusion conditions;
4. Widely applicable viscosity range: using different sealing methods, it can be applied to working conditions from low viscosity to extremely high viscosity;
5. Multiple installation methods: meet the personalized needs of users;
6. High precision manufacturing and excellent heat treatment: more precise and durable;
